Welcome to the MCI Responder Training Resources & Community Website!

The MCI Responder project is designed to explore the use of low cost simulation and gaming technologies to accelerate and enhance workforce development of First Responders, starting with fire service personnel.

Project Goal:

Develop a demonstration platform to illustrate the practical capabilities of computer simulation-based workforce development training materials. The project will:

• Provide enhanced training and practice capabilities for an existing high rise Incident Command System (ICS) Chief’s Command Course.
  
  
• Shorten the time for expertise development through generating a greater frequency of critical decision making experiences for the Chief’s Command Course students.
  
  
• Provide a foundation to further develop a complete package of MCI simulation-based workforce development materials.
